Problem  - How will the size of a sphere affect the time of the sphere when it falls?
Hypothesis - My hypothesis is that  the heavier the marble or ball the faster the marble will drop.
Experiment  - We will drop the spheres and graph the times to get the results
Procedure
1.  First we will gather all of our materials.
2. We grab the timer.
3. We will drop the spheres and start the timer so we can measure the time.
4.  We will repeat steps 2-3 ten more times so we can get the rest of the times.
5. Finally we will clean our materials up.

11. CV- Where the object falls from.
12. IV-  The size of the sphere, weight of the object.
13. DV- Time it takes for the object to fall to the ground.
Observations My observations were that the spear would fall
Conclusion  My conclusion is that the heavier the sphere is the faster the object will fall.

Ernest Hemingway

In Hemingway's story "A Clean Well-Lighted Place,"  The younger waiter,  "Mr. Perfect  I know it all" and the old man, "Mr. Lonely Drinker".

The  young waiter was very disrespectful. He would say rude things about the old man, to the old waiter. The old man and the old waiter  both didn't have a wife to go home at three o'clock in the  morning, when the old man left the bar.

 I don't think the young waiter was hardly ever right in the story because money is not more important than happiness in life, for anyone but him I guess. And he should have not talked about the old man. The old man and old waiter both hade a wife at one point in there life. He said that the old man "should have killed himself yesterday". I disagree because they would be losing  a customer  and lose money at the same time.

  The old man and the old waiter were  both probably were happy at one point in their life. The old man and the old waiter both seemed sad in the story. The young waiter had no patients for the old man when he wanted another cup of  wine, that  he was drinking,  but  he couldn't give him any more because they were going to close the bar so I agree on that part of the story.  He said that money is more important than life, and someone's family and I disagree on that part of the story.

My conclusion of this story is that ,I think what we should have learned is to not be disrespectful so other people don't  talk bad things about us, behind our backs.

Patriotism Response

                                 DOES PATRIOTISM STILL MATTER?  

In my opinion I think patriotism does still matter. That is the reason why we have freedom today. The freedom to express ourselves. Without freedom we wouldn't be able to say anything we wanted. If we ever said anything, that we were not allowed to say, and we were herd we would probably get in so much trouble, for not fallowing the laws.

Example: He didn't want to give the old man any more to drink that night/morning.

Why was he disrespectful?

I think he was disrespectful because he might have not liked his life, and his job or maybe his marriage wasn't going very well because he might have had an argument with his wife, or maybe one of his family member  might have passed away.

The young waiter was often wrong.

Example: Money is not more important than happiness in someone's life, or someone's family.

Example: That he should give the person what they wants from the bar  or he wouldn't be making money for his family.

Why didn't he see that he was wrong? He thought he was always right because he was always right and perfect he never had a wrong answer.
